At Beach, we recognize that we face life challenges and experiences that many times make it difficult to get through even daily routines without support. Recovery and Support teams are here to help meet emotional, spiritual, and practical needs during these times.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY
Celebrate Recovery is a 12 step Christ-centered program for anyone struggling with any hurt, habit or hang-up! We have found hope and help in the power of Jesus Christ!
We are believers in Jesus Christ who recognize the struggle with the chaos in our lives. Through Celebrate Recovery we are accessing Christ’s power in our lives to overcome our issues of anger, grief, alcoholism, guilt and shame, financial loss, divorce, dysfunctional families, sexual abuse, drug abuse, eating disorders and many more.
CR meets every Friday night in the Education Building as follows:.
6:15 – Dinner
7:00 – Worship/Testimony/Lesson on the 12 Steps and 8 Principles
8:00 – Small groups (gender and issue specific)
9:00 – Cross Talk Café (dessert and coffee)

STEPHEN MINISTRY
If you, or someone you care for, are facing a tough life challenge, then a Stephen Minister may be the answer. These persons have been trained & commissioned to provide distinctively Christian, highly confidential, one-to-one care to persons in our church and community. A Stephen Minister serves as a good listener and spiritual friend, and helps the care receiver set goals that will assist him/her in moving through the difficult circumstance.

DivorceCare
If divorce is a past, present, or anticipated experience, this is for you as this course offers God’s healing, experiences of forgiveness and compassion, practical helps for everyday living, and supportive encouragement from class members and compassionate faith-filled leaders. DivorceCare Kids is offered simultaneously for children (K-5) of class participants, with coordinated subject sessions.

GriefShare
This 12-week experience is for persons who are grieving due to the death of a loved one. Through input from compassionate leaders, video presentation by “experts”, daily devotionals, and confidential group sharing, you will experience God’s healing, discover practical solutions to daily living challenges, and feel the support and encouragement from others in the class. Joy, comfort, peace, and new beginnings will be the result.

FINANCIAL COUNSELING
Financial counseling is offered, without charge, on an individual basis or by attending the Crown Financial Bible Study.

PRAYER MINISTRY
Prayer requests: If you would like for our Intercessory Prayer Team and/or pastors to pray for a particular request, complete a prayer request card in weekend services and place in the offering basket; or, email to: marcia.ferguson@beachumc.org; or, call 904-249-2343 ext 34 and it will be circulated confidentially among our prayer team.
Individual prayer: If you would like for someone to pray with you personally, our pastors and Intercessory Prayer Team members are available at the conclusion of each weekend service; or, call 904-249-2343 and ask for a pastor; or, come to the chapel on Mondays between 9:30-11:00 a.m. to meet with our Intercessory Prayer team.
HOSPITAL VISITS
Stephen Ministers and other trained church members are available to visit for prayer and encouragement. If you, or someone you know, is hospitalized or in a short-term or long-term care facility please let us know. Contact us by calling 904-249-2343 ext 34, or email: Marcia.ferguson@beachumc.org.
FUNERALS AND MEMORIAL SERVICES
If you have experienced the loss of a family member you can contact us at 904-249-2343 to make arrangements for a Beach pastor to conduct a funeral or memorial service.
